Jacob Brodie

President & Co-Founder, Former Vice President & COO, Purolite Corporation

Jacob Brodie is the President and Co-Founder of Brodie Generational Capital Partners, a family office established following the sale of Purolite Corporation in 2021. The firm acquires and operates companies in the specialty chemical, healthcare, and industrial manufacturing sectors. Jacob also oversees Zahav Bioscience, a drug development company launched by the family office with a focus on oncology therapeutics.

Jacob began his career at Purolite, the family’s global ion exchange resin business, after graduating from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Arts and Science. He spent his early years working across the UK, U.S., and Romania before taking on sales and marketing leadership across Asia and Latin America. As Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Jacob was responsible for sales throughout the Americas, global marketing, and U.S. operations. He led Purolite’s strategic rebranding in 2012, repositioning the company toward high-margin healthcare and environmental markets.

Jacob is an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), the Institute for Private Investors (IPI), and the Union League of Philadelphia. He also serves on the Finance and Audit Committee of the Fisher Island Club.

He and his wife, Kristina, have two children. Their son, Ethan, is a graduate of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and works in finance. Their daughter, Sarah, recently transferred to Colorado College in Colorado Springs, following her studies at the University of St. Andrews and high school at The American School in Switzerland (TASIS).
