Raman Mahadevan serves as Tax Advisor at Brodie Generational Capital Partners, where he provides strategic guidance on federal, state, and international tax matters, including regulatory compliance and structuring.
With over 30 years of experience, Raman brings a deep understanding of complex tax landscapes, including mergers and acquisitions, tax planning, and accounting for income taxes under both U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
Raman has advised a wide range of clients—from family offices and venture capital funds to multinational corporations and private equity portfolio companies—across industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, information technology, biopharmaceuticals, and specialty chemicals.
Prior to joining BGCP, Raman spent 25 years at Ernst & Young LLP, where he retired as a Senior Tax Partner. During his tenure, he held multiple leadership roles, including Managing Partner of the Philadelphia Tax Practice and Head of Sector Initiatives across key industries.
Raman is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Chartered Accountant (CA), and holds a master’s degree in taxation from Temple University. He is an active member of the AICPA and PICPA and frequently speaks to professional organizations including the Tax Executives Institute and Financial Executives International.
Raman lives in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania with his wife and daughter.
